Mike's, Jeff's, and Clarisse's Story
Mike was just cleaning up his daggers after the zombie fight. It was daylight, that meant no zombies. When you think
zombies, you think slow moving, stupid humans with a thirst for flesh, that went everywhere when they wanted, feasting on human flesh. Well these zombies were different. They looked like regular zombies at first, slow and stupid, but then you would realize they only went like that in the light. In the dark, you couldn't see them. Even if you could, you would be dead anyway, they're too fast in the dark.
Enough about the zombies. Mike specialized in daggers, and snipers, when bullets were available. Jeff liked the flail more, killing multiple zombies at one time, and it only required strength, and he had it. He also used the shotgun when available. Clarisse preferred the sword, and two pistols, she liked two because in case one jammed, she could use the other one, and if they didn't jam, she could kill zombies pretty fast. They were the perfect team, and they didn't need to worry about food, either. There was a forest near their base; it was a shop, barricaded, and still lit. Mike was great in hunting, what with two daggers and his stealth.
Mike was cleaning up his daggers after the zombie fight. It was daylight, that meant no zombies. He always liked the daylight, it looked cheerful, and most zombies wouldn't come out during it. He hated the zombies just like how he hated terrorists. He was in the Army before the zombie invasion, and the terrorists were just as bad as the zombies. He remembered the bombing of his base while in the Army, and he tried to help protect the base, but there was nothing he could do. So he painfully watched, and then he and his unit were departed out of the Army. He thought about that all the time he was battling zombies.
You're probably wondering where all these zombies came from? Well, a madman wanted pain to the world, so he created a formula. He tested it with his 'tests'; his pets. They wanted human flesh and apparently brains. He laughed and yelled "THE WORLD SHALL HAVE A TASTE OF ITS OWN MEDICINE, BWHAHAHA!!!" He made fake food; which, by the way, looked like apple pie mixed with sugar, powdered, and cinnamon. It was in a busy mall, and a lot of people tried it. They all turned to zombies, and there was panic everywhere in the U.S. Now, the zombies looked like people, except with ooze coming out of their head, or wherever they got bit. These people, ATE the virus, so it went to the body/stomach. They were also wearing clothes so it wasn't visible. So after that, there was a zombie outbreak.
Enough of the explaining. Mike called over for Jeff, he wanted to add the door to the barricade. It wouldn't help, anyway. You can't kill zombies banging at the door without breaking the door. Jeff was busy adding chairs and a table to the barricade, while Clarisse was telling them to burn the dead zombie. She offered to add the door to the barricade, because Jeff was too busy and stubborn. Mike asked himself for the 50th time why they can't just set up a barricade closer to the door, he hated dragging things to the back of the store. "Zombies would just break through the walls because the front are the weakest, and aren't protected by extra layers, where as the back of the store..." he thought to himself. He wondered if you could torture zombies... probably not. Suddenly, the zombie they 'killed' came back alive and nearly bit Clarisse, and she punched the zombie in the face and kicked it in the torso. You had to admit, for a girl, Clarisse was pretty darn strong. She grabbed the lighter from her pocket, turned it on and threw it at the zombie. The zombie melted and died. As for her lighter, it had zombie juice on it... eww. Clarisse sighed and went to the supply box for another lighter. "Clarisse, you gotta be careful with those lighters, y'know, they weren't easy to get," Jeff said
"WELL MAYBE IF YOU BURNED THE ZOMBIE EARLIER WHEN I SAID SO!" Clarisse yelled.
"Hey! You aren't in charge of-"
"QUIET!" said Mike "Clarisse, be careful. Jeff, don't argue unless you have a point."
"Bu-" Jeff said.
"Do you have a point?" Mike asked.
"Grr... never mind."
"Good," said Mike.
"Hey, can one of you clean this up?" Clarisse asked.
"I will," sighed Jeff.
Mike half-chuckled. When everything was back to normal, Mike announced "I'll be right back, I gotta go get some firewood,"
"I'll go with you!" Jeff said. Clarisse gave him the evil-eye. Mike and Jeff walked outside, noticing some dead bodies. Mike had to be careful with Jeff because only Mike and Clarisse were immune to the virus, not him. They still could easily bleed to death, though. "We should get our weapons," Jeff said. "Guns or steel?"
Jeff thought for a moment..."Steel," he said finally.
"Yeah, let's get steel." They walked back inside to get their weapons, when they noticed the two guns and sword were gone. "Uh-oh," they both said. They quickly got their weapons and went outside. They looked at all the dead bodies. None of them belonged to Clarisse. "Good, so we know she survived, hopefully," Mike said. "Let's move."
Mike and Jeff carefully walked through the street. The sun was coming down, so that meant that the zombies will be more powerful. They had to find Clarisse in about 2 hours or she would have to rely on luck to live. It was times like this he wished he lived on Madagascar, perfect weather for crops, lots of animals, long days, it was paradise, but he had to focus now. Being Clarisse, he would have thought she went straight through the roads, if she wasn't dead already.
Clarisse looked around, she had to find Mike and Jeff. "If those stupid zombies didn't chase me out... good thing I had my sword..." she kept mumbling to herself. She was in the forest, looking for firewood. She knew it was a bad idea and she had to stay at base, but she couldn't, and she might as well make herself useful. Chopping down trees with a sword wasn't very much easier than with an axe. She also called for Mike and Jeff. It was a bad idea, considering the zombies, but she was well guarded. She thought she had enough firewood, so she went back to base to check it out. It was zombie-clear, so she called for Mike and Jeff again, and went inside.
Mike and Jeff knew they had to go back to base, it was too dark to search anymore. They just hoped Clarisse was okay. She was immune to the virus, skilled in combat, and knew first aid...it still bothered him. As they were walking back to base they heard Clarisse's voice. "Let's go!" Mike yelled. Mike and Jeff ran very fast, despite all their equipment. Jeff nearly slipped, and if he did, he would've nearly scraped his knee off. Mike and Jeff got to base, and ran inside. There, fixing the barricade, was Clarisse. Jeff and Mike nearly fainted with relief when she turned around and wasn't a zombie. She grinned, and friendly-punched them on the shoulders. Jeff nearly fell down, but Mike stood in place.
* * *
They were fixing the barricade; as always. They decided to put the door back, it didn't fit with the chairs and tables. There was a knock on the door. Everyone froze. Mike yelled out "Friendly or foe?!" No one answered. An answer at the door said "Is it safe in there?" said a nervous voice. Jeff froze, petrified, he knew that voice. "Wait! I think I know him," Mike and Jeff said. They both looked at each other. "P-please, they're closing in... help me," said the nervous voice.
Mike went to the door, "It's O.K. if I get bit, we have enough towels and rags to stop the bleeding here." He opened the door, there, standing in front of him, was someone he hadn't seen in 13 years... "Tom!" Jeff and Mike said together. Clarisse was very confused. Tom quickly went inside. Mike and Jeff nearly laughed with excitement "I haven't seen you since 5th grade!" Mike said. "Neither have I!" Jeff said.
"Are you immune to the virus?" Clarisse asked. Mike and Jeff froze, they forgot there were zombies. "I might be," Tom said.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I got bit, and I healed it with only pressure and towels..."
"Hmm... do you feel strange?"
"No, other than the feeling that the zombies are closing in and no one's realized." He pointed to the door with his thumb.
"Mike! Jeff! Secure the doors, I'll see to it about this guy!"
"Got it," Mike said,
"Alright!" Jeff yelled.
"I mean, do you feel suddenly lightheaded?" Clarisse heard Mike and Jeff fighting zombies in the background.
"No, I feel just fine..."
"Alright then, do you have a weapon?"
Mike stabbed a zombie in the eye and another in the chin. He lifted the one he stabbed with the chin in the air and into the fire. It was funny, because since a zombie was basically nothing, it didn't smell like anything when it burnt. The one he stabbed in the eye Jeff took care of. Mike threw a dagger at a zombie near the fire and it fell in. He quickly grabbed the dagger out and did the same thing to another one. "Pfft, too easy," he mumbled.
Jeff threw the five zombies he had on his flail into the fire. His flail was fire-proof, so it didn't melt until at 100,000 degrees Fahrenheit. He was always in the front of the zombie invasion because he could take out multiple enemies. With that in mind, he twirled his flail and smashed the ten zombies surrounding him. He almost laughed, "Haha! Way too easy!"
Clarisse stabbed her sword through four zombies, cutting their heads off, then kicked their dead bodies into the fire. She stabbed her sword through three zombies, and threw them into the fire. Her sword was special, it could hold more than five-hundred pounds and could easily cut through steel. "This?" She mumbled. "This is a challenge?"
Mike, Jeff, and Clarisse rejoined together, with Tom no where in sight. They were panting from the battle, and wondered where the rest of the zombies were. They heard a SCREEEEEECH!!!!!! and then an explosion, and then they ducked. Out of nowhere... was... a tank? Someone was yelling inside and whooping. Mike, Jeff, and Clarisse stared at it with disbelief. Tom got out of the tank and ran towards them. Tom said, "You really think i came defenseless? Ha! I just needed a shelter, you can use it if you want. The explosions kill zombies completely, burning them, blowing them apart, you name it, there's also a machine gun if you want it. It's attached to the tank, though, and isn't de-attachable. Fun to disable zombies though. Oh yeah, and if you miss them, there are 5 Red Bulls, 3 Monster Khaos's, and, blame me for loving them, 1 Mountain Dew Voltage. If none of you want the M.D., then I'll gladly drink it. I know, I know, call me weird, but"-he pointed to the tank-" THAT, was a gift, from my dad in the Army."
"Colonel Stewart?!" Mike said
"Yeah, that guy."
"Aw, man, he was awesome, I remember he-"
"Can we just focus on the zombies now?" Jeff interrupted.
"Yeah, sure," Mike and Tom said,
"Finally?" Clarisse said.
Cold

God I hate colds.. and it's summer... HAHAHA, not funny, also, I have no napkins so I have to blow my nose on paper towels (hurts like hell) or clean it up with water (annoying as hell), which also sucks because my nose gets stuffed every 3 minutes.
